Computer Solutions and Software International Becomes a Member of ACORD
Coconut Creek, Florida, 4/28/2008 — Computer Solutions and Software International,
Inc (CSSI), a leading application developer and provider of business technology
solutions, announced today that the company has joined the Association for Cooperative
Operations Research and Development (ACORD). ACORD is an international insurance
association whose mission is to “facilitate the development and use of standards
for the insurance, reinsurance and related financial services industries”.
ACORD states that membership in the organization will assure CSSI an “active voice
in the prioritization, development, maintenance and management of ACORD Standards
for Property & Casualty, Life & Annuity, and Reinsurance.” CSSI will be able to
collaborate and form new relationships with other ACORD members such as insurers,
underwriters, agents, and brokers.
CSSI will also participate in the upcoming ACORD Information Systems Forum, which
takes place May 13 through May 16, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The forum is a collaborative
effort between ACORD and LOMA, an international association through which “insurance
and financial services companies engage in research and educational activities to
improve company operations,” the organization states. The forum will address the
current issues facing insurance systems as well as highlight the most important
advances in technology solutions.
Through participating in ACORD and the Insurance Systems Forum, CSSI hopes to augment
its insurance expertise with the newest insights and most up-to-date technological
priorities of the insurance industry. This knowledge will prove invaluable when
positioning its premiere offering, VUE Compensation Management, in the marketplace.
VUE Compensation Management is a powerful, flexible and intuitive tool that makes
it easy for insurers to organize and streamline complex commission and incentive
programs. “The robust capabilities of our software offer many benefits to insurers,”
says Vice President Joseph Westlake. “A current understanding of our clients’ needs
is critical to our ability to emphasize the product’s most relevant features.”
